Bike marketing co-ordinator – Scott Sports 

The successful candidate will assist the marketing team in the development, coordination and execution of the UK bike marketing strategy. Roles and responsibilities include the development, creation and co-ordination of communication and campaigns focused on Scott bike and Syncros products, managing the brand’s relationship with key media contacts and delivering exposure to drive sales and push campaign targets, co-ordinating in store support, creating PR content, managing product placement and tracking and analysing performance of campaigns.

Assistant manager – Mud Dock

The main focus will be on assisting the store manager with all business operations and growth through customer focus and shop floor leadership. Candidates should have previous experience as an assistant manager or similar supervisory role, in-depth product knowledge of the key brands Trek, Cannondale and Specialized, expert knowledge of Brompton bikes, an understanding of cash handling and the ability to motivate a team of colleagues. You will also lead the shop floor in line with the store manager’s brief.

National standards cycle instructor – Safe Urban Driving – TTC Cycling

TTC Cycling is delivering the practical, on-road module of the Safe Urban Driving course with Fleet Source nationally and is looking to work with instructors who are passionate and enthusiastic about delivering cycle training. Senior mechanic – On Your Bike

On Your Bike is now recruiting in its East Grinstead store for a senior mechanic who is used to working in a commercial but customer centric environment. You will also assume a number of senior tasks and support managers with the day-to-day running of the shop. You must have a strong ethic for customer service and strive to ensure all customers have the best possible experience. You will also be required to set up technical customer workshops and doctor bike sessions.

Sales staff and mechanics – Ralph Colman Cycles

Sales staff will talk to customers about products, take orders, assist in merchandising and display, work on the till, book in repairs and do general housekeeping. Mechanics will be responsible for the repair, service and set up of bikes and will provide excellent customer service. Ideally you’ll have a Cytech qualification and have experience of working on all types of bikes. You’ll need to be confident, friendly and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude with a drive for retail sales. An interest in cycling would be useful.
