Store Staff – JE James Cycles

We are excited to announce the opening of our new store in Barnsley and are looking to fill various roles within our passionate team. Positions for Supervisors, Salespersons, and Workshop staff will be available starting from May onwards.

Responsibilities include: engaging in sales of a diverse range of bikes and accessories in a professional manner, assembling bikes to meet high-quality standards (training will be provided), handling order dispatches, process shipments, and manage deliveries efficiently, supporting with organising and maintaining stock inventory, and participating in demo events as needed.

A genuine interest in bikes is crucial, as is the willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks. You will be elf-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.

Area Sales Manager North & Scotland – Bicycle – KTM Sportmotorcycle UK Ltd

To support our continued long-term growth strategy, we are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated individual to join this fast-paced team in our Sales department as a Husqvarna E-Bicycles and GASGAS Bicycles Area Sales Manager for the north of England and Scotland.

You will halp develop a dealer network by: working with the Managing Director to compile and stratify target dealer list, prospecting and establishing of new relationships, presenting our brands and company requirements, converting new prospect into dealers and passing to the Dealer Network Team, and educating and training dealers with our products and systems.

Bike Mechanic/reception & bookings – The Bicycle Rooms/ Warwickshire Ebikes

We are looking for a new front of house/mechanic going forward in a full time capacity. We are looking for a capable individual with experience in workshop to join our small and capable team here in Stratford upon Avon. We need you to maintain our high levels of service and sales, Cy Tech training will be afforded to the successful candidate. Part time roles will also be considered.

Due to our reputation for high quality workmanship, we attract a wide variety of bikes and thanks to our fantastic team, are rarely unable to offer repair solutions to our customers. We have a can-do attitude and put strong customer service at the heart of everything we do. Candidates are required to have experience working as a full time mechanic in a retail environment.

The shop currently opens 10AM to 5:30 PM Tuesday to Friday, Sat 10AM to 4PM. We have a separate Saturday crew however some Saturdays will be required.. A full-time 4 day working week is 28 hours, plus Saturday. All our staff work as mechanics, although working on the shop floor and serving customers is part of the role too.

Senior Workshop Technician – bicycle.

At bicycle. we are recruiting for a workshop technician to support and aid growth in the business. As a leader in bike fitting and custom-made road bikes we are looking for an applicant who has good experience working with top level road components and has a wide knowledge of modern road bike technologies and service techniques.

As a workshop technician you will conduct and oversee the completion of service work and therefore ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required standard. You will also be responsible for liaising with our bike fitters to support any mechanical work they may require.

We will expect the applicant to be skilled at managing their time and be able to delegate work efficiently to others, handle stock levels and ordering for workshop supplies, and manage communication with customers through the service process.
