Cycling tour leaders and guides – Sportive Breaks

You will be based in some of the best cycling regions in the world for a couple of months at a time including the Italian Alps, Provence, the Pyrenees and off the beaten path destinations like Morocco and Slovenia. Being a tour guide involves more than just riding your bike, we are looking for a worldly and capable candidate to plan and problem solve on the fly whilst ensuring that our guests experience the best possible service and can’t wait to come back for their next Sportive Breaks trip. A typical tour is five days with a three full-day rides and one or two shorter rides. You will be riding or in the support van on ride days and prepping for the next tour on arrival and departure days. You will be on location in Europe most of the time during the course of the contract so we seek a candidate with flexibility to be away for long periods.

Merchandiser – Ribble Cycles

Reporting into the head of supply, the role will oversee our stock ordering; and be directly responsible for availability and management of the Open to Buy. This role will cover some 3,000 products, from a variety of domestic and international suppliers; and spans both short-lead-time ordering as well as more structured forward-ordering. This pivotal role will work collaboratively with the finance, sales and product teams to ensure availability of our core offer is maintained whilst keeping stock turn high; and our overall stock holding within budgeted levels.

Area sales manager – Upgrade Bikes

Working as part of the Upgrade Bikes sales team, and reporting to the national sales manager, you will be based out on the road visiting dealers on a daily basis, developing the sales territory and growing sales whilst also securing new business. Attendance at trade and public shows will also be required, as will some weekend work supporting dealer events throughout the year. Reporting to the sales manager with market feedback and product trends. Weekly journey reports to be submitted to gain market intelligence that can be shared with the sales/marketing team.
