Visual Merchandise Manager – Uprise Bikes

As the Visual Merchandise Manager for our two brand-new bicycle showrooms, you will be shaping the narrative of our physical cycling experience. Curating an immersive experience that transcends traditional retail – you’ll be creating spaces where every bicycle tells a story. Your canvas spans two unique showrooms, and your creative touch will bring to life the passion and adventure in each ride.

Duties include: developing and fulfilling merchandising strategies that align with the Uprise goals and objectives, developing and managing visual displays and product layouts in both of our store locations, to encourage customer engagement and interaction, producing planograms and manage in-store merchandising proposals, working integrally with the Purchasing Team to be a step ahead of the trends and ensuring the product range is innovative and inspiring, and communicating with suppliers via the Purchasing Team to negotiate prices, discounts, delivery schedules, and terms of payments.

You will be able to: think creatively and critically, using the sales data, consumer behaviour and market trends to identify opportunities for development and maximise profits, juggle multiple projects and deadlines, with effective delegation and attention to detail for maximum success of both ranges and locations, motivate and inspire the teams to work towards goals and celebrate successes along the way, and communicate your ideas, strategies, and goals to the teams, and senior leaders within Uprise.

Sales Associate – Uprise Bikes

As a Sales Associate in one of our two vibrant, brand-new cycling showrooms, you’ll be the guide to helping customers discover their perfect ride. Imagine a workplace where your enthusiasm for cycling aligns seamlessly with your role – a place where you don’t just sell bikes; you help riders find their ideal bike to fuel their adventures. Your passion for cycling will be the driving force behind connecting riders with their ideal bicycles, turning each visit into a unique experience for our customers.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate about customer service, helping and responding to queries that meet customer’s needs, have enthusiasm for great cycling products, having the latest cycling knowledge and current trends, and be friendly, confident, and having a flexible attitude.

You will: ensure inbound goods deliveries from suppliers are accurate and complete, and inputting relevant details into our stock management system, products are displayed to their full potential and in correct locations consistent with our warehouse systems, accuracy and confidents in handling POS, including orders, refunds, and exchanges, advocate for the removal and the recycle of all waste packaging materials in line with company policy, and uphold standards of cleanliness and tidiness in all areas.

Front of House Sales & Support – AW Cycles

AW Cycles are looking for a new front of house team member to offer advice and exceptional customer service on all things cycling. Our ideal candidate will have sales and service background and have a passion for cycling. You will be joining an experienced team that understand staff make the difference between AW Cycles and a regular shop.

The job will involve guiding customers through the purchase of new bikes, advising on accessories and engaging with service requests and workshop bookings. You will need a good phone manner, be I.T. proficient, have great attention to detail and a genuine desire to offer the best for our customers.

Alongside customer service, the job roll will entail stock management, store presentation and general shop duties. On the job training will be provided, we firmly believe in investing in our staff and their knowledge and experience. Store Manager – Uprise Bikes

As the Store Manager of one our brand-new bicycle showrooms, you will be at the helm of an experience like no other. Picture yourself leading a team in a vibrant space dedicated to showcasing the latest and most innovative bicycles in the market. Your role goes beyond traditional management; you’ll be the orchestrator of an immersive cycling haven, connecting enthusiasts with their dream rides. At Uprise, we’re not just selling bikes; we’re crafting an unforgettable journey for every customer.

The store manager will: focus on improving your teams’ selling skills and always promoting exceptional and innovative customer service, remembering that; the customers future visit is always their most important, work closely with the Visual Merchandiser to continually improve performance and aspirational environment, drive store targets and communicating those amongst the team, organise and monitor the shop rota, communicating holiday allowances and appropriate staffing numbers in the store to reflect your weekly trade patterns.

There is also an expectation to: manager orders, inspire and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service, coach and develop team members in all aspects of their role, conducting one-to-one meeting and absence reviews, maintain high health and safety standards, follow all risk assessments and have availability and flexibility to work weekends and provide holiday cover as required.

In-store Mechanic – Uprise Bikes

As an In-Store Bike Mechanic in our innovative cycling showroom, you’ll be the person behind assembling and fine-tuning bikes, transforming each two-wheeled beauty into an adventure-ready ride. Picture a workplace where your expertise is celebrated – a dynamic environment where you can showcase your skills to troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes on the spot and install the awesome accessories customers select for their new rides.

You will be: experienced and passionate about customer service, helping and responding to queries that meet customer’s needs, enthusiastic for great Cycling products, having the latest cycling knowledge and current trends, friendly, confident, and have a flexible attitude.

Day-to-day duties include: the assembly of new bikes, identifying faults, damage, and wear, carrying out all elements of repairs and warranty work, repairing/replacing damaged or worn-out components, wheel truing/building, carrying out routine services and safety checks, cleaning, degreasing and lubricating bicycles and components.
