Operations Lead

Based on Innerleithen’s High Street in the heart of the Tweed Valley, a major off road cycling destination, Tweed Valley Bikes offers a high-end one stop shopping experience serving all mountain biking needs through our shop and online presence. The ethos of our business is to provide high-quality products and exceptional service. We cater for everyone from new riders, to aspiring racers and seasoned enthusiasts, delivering everything from bike demos and sales, bike servicing and repairs to guided rides, skills courses and tailored coaching sessions.

The business is growing at a fast-pace and we’re looking for a proactive Operations Lead with previous experience to work directly with the Managing Director to support the running of the business’ behind the scenes’ across in-store, online retail, workshop and trail-based activities. You’ll be responsible for stock management, business operations, online order fulfilment, after-sales and warranty as well as trail-based activity management. Your focus will be keeping our day-to-day systems running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring tasks don’t get bottlenecked and taking the lead on logistics across our team.

This is a new role, and it’s expected that it will evolve over time in line with the changing business needs. Whilst it’s not a significant part of the job, some shop floor cover will be expected, as such we’re looking for someone who has a keen interest in off-road cycling!

Sales and Marketing Executive

This role will be a key part of our team, providing support for the territory managers and retailers. This role will help to facilitate sales orders, manage back orders, and provide product guidance to retailers. This person will be responsible for supporting the marketing function of the business, in terms of events support and administration.

Responsibilities for this role include providing support for the Territory Managers and retailers relating to sales of our products. Provide guidance and support to the retailer to enhance their business. Build rapport and trust with the retailer network. Provide guidance and knowledge to help retailers with their purchasing forecasts where required. Effectively enter orders with the ERP system from retailers and place purchases for special orders. Attend events in the UK organised by the retailer or Pinarello. Provide relevant information of the territory and of the brand to retailers to help assess and improve their performance. Act as a facilitator amongst retailers in the territory when required. Partner with the team at HQ particularly Customer Service people. Provide sales related information to management as required. Social media support. Marketing asset management. POS and marketing material coordination. Event and demo administration. Product loan administration (from pre-determined fleet).

Hope Academy Mechanic

The Hope Academy is a children’s bike scheme designed to give all children the opportunity to ride high-end bikes at an affordable monthly cost. Our aim is to help children get the most out of riding and develop a lifelong passion for cycling. We are looking for a Hope Academy Mechanic to join our team and help us maintain the high standards and excellent customer service that our customers expect from Hope.

As a Hope Academy Mechanic, you will be responsible for building, servicing and maintaining our fleet of children’s bikes. The role will also involve carrying out bike builds, servicing and repairs to a high standard. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and technical issues. Communicating with customers and responding to technical, servicing and warranty queries by telephone and email. Helping to maintain accurate service and workshop records. Supporting Hope Academy events when required. Representing Hope Academy in a professional, positive and friendly manner.

Sales Advisor

Independently owned by Nicholas Freilich, Giant Store Camden has been a staple of the local cycling community for 12 years. We stock the Giant brands including Giant, Liv & Cadex, alongside third-party products. Beyond retail, our store is a vibrant multisport hub offering a pro workshop, bike fitting, and on-site sports massage.
