Eurobike to host press conference ahead of 2019 show

Eurobike will host a press conference, including a presentation of the latest innovations, on 29th August.

It will start at 11 am at Foyer East, Messe Friedrichshafen.

Journalists will be able to follow the press conference on-site or live online. Registration and use of the live stream are free of charge. Following the speakers’ presentations, it will be possible to pose questions to the podium by registering in advance for the Eurobike press conference at www.press-live.com.

Among others, the following discussants will be present:
– Stefan Reisinger, head of Eurobike
– Dirk Heidrich, show director, Eurobike
– Bernd-Uwe Gutknecht, ARD sports reporter

In a recent interview with BikeBiz, Reisinger said Eurobike is focusing on opening up its show to as many people as possible, whether they head to Friedrichshafen or not. He said: “Previously, you have either taken part or not taken part in Eurobike. What we have done, and what will be significant in the coming years, is open up our event. We are devising a digital strategy for it, and that’s something we really want to push on with. We also want people to come, even if it’s just taking advantage of our Media Days, or the public day. We are positive that this will bring more brands into the Eurobike fold, even if they do not attend the main event in Friedrichshafen.”

Eurobike announced its new digital strategy, including a new website, earlier this month. It has also revealed more details on the ‘Bike Biz Revolution‘, which is set to take place the day before the Eurobike show on 3rd September.

Eurobike 2019 will open to trade visitors for three business days, 4th to 6th September, followed by Festival Day on 7th September. You can read more the full interview with Reisinger in our August edition of BikeBiz.
