Whyte Bikes is re-entering the German and Austrian markets, supported by a dedicated German-based sales, marketing and warranty team.
The British bike brand said the move follows growing demand for its new Karve and Karve EVO full-power eMTB platforms, with prospective dealers in Germany and Austria set to be contacted from late September 2026 and initial inventory due to land in March 2027.
Whyte’s return to the two markets will be led locally by Sebastian Tegtmeier, who has joined as German Sales and Marketing Manager. The company said its regional team will cover sales, marketing and warranty support, with a focus on building long-term relationships with independent retailers.

Nikki Hawyes, CEO of Whyte Bikes, said Germany and Austria are “hugely important markets” for the brand as it looks to build internationally.
“We’ve built our reputation by working alongside independent retailers, listening to their feedback and supporting their businesses for the long term,” Hawyes said. “We’re not trying to be everywhere overnight. We’re focused on building the right partnerships, doing things properly, and creating sustainable growth for both Whyte and our retail partners.”
The launch into Germany and Austria will centre on Whyte’s Karve and Karve EVO eMTBs. Karve is a 160mm trail and enduro eMTB, while Karve EVO is a 180mm gravity-focused platform aimed at bike parks, self-shuttle riding and big mountain terrain.
Tegtmeier said he was “absolutely delighted” to begin the new chapter with Whyte, adding that the brand’s renewed focus on specialist retailers in the UK would inform its approach in Germany and Austria.
“That same customer focus and belief in specialist retailers is exactly what we’re bringing to Germany and Austria — fair terms, excellent service, comprehensive lifetime warranties, and bikes built with a proper dose of British character,” Tegtmeier said.

Every Whyte frame is backed by a lifetime frame and pivot bearing warranty as standard. The company said the German-based team will provide close retailer support and responsive service as it re-establishes the brand across the region.

Karve RS is priced at €6,699 SRP, with Karve RSX at €9,199. Karve EVO RS is priced at €6,699 SRP, with Karve EVO RSX at €8,599.
The announcement follows Whyte’s recent return to the US market as the brand continues to expand into key international territories.
