Madison has launched its Autumn/Winter 2026 clothing range, with the new Flux HydroShift Waterproof Packable Jacket leading a broad update across the brand’s wet-weather apparel offering.
The range includes redesigned DTE and Flux pieces aimed at riders facing changing winter conditions, from road cyclists needing a lightweight emergency shell to mountain bikers seeking more durable waterproof protection.
New HydroShift waterproof technology
The headline product is the Flux HydroShift Waterproof Packable Jacket, a premium road jacket built around Madison’s new HydroShift waterproof technology. The design removes the traditional face fabric and places an ultra-hydrophobic microporous polyurethane membrane on the outside of the garment.
According to Madison, the construction helps rain bead on the surface and roll away, reducing water absorption and helping the jacket stay lighter during wet rides. The brand says a quick shake after rainfall removes much of the remaining surface water, allowing the jacket to dry rapidly and be packed away.
The membrane uses microscopic pores designed to block wind and rain while allowing perspiration vapour to escape. Madison said the jacket is intended to balance waterproof protection, breathability and packability for mixed winter riding conditions.
The Flux HydroShift Waterproof Packable Jacket will sit at the top of Madison’s road collection for AW26 and is priced at £199.99.
DTE range redesigned for MTB
Madison has also redesigned its DTE 3-Layer Waterproof Jacket and DTE 3-Layer Waterproof Bib Trousers for mountain bike use. DTE, short for “Defy the Elements”, remains the brand’s range for its most durable materials and highest levels of weather protection.
The updated jacket and bib trousers now use nylon outer fabric for added durability, alongside fully waterproof three-layer construction and a fluorocarbon-free durable water-repellent finish.
Both garments carry a waterproof rating of 20,000mm and a breathability rating of 20,000g/m²/24 hours. Stretch fabrics and articulated fits are intended to improve movement on the bike, while the bib trousers are designed to remain compatible with knee pads.
The DTE jacket features a redesigned helmet-compatible hood with a single drawcord, laser-cut ventilation, elasticated cuffs, an adjustable hem and a dropped rear hem. Storage comes from two hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket.
The DTE waterproof bib trousers add a waterproof bib section above the waist, adjustable straps, an integrated pocket, articulated knees, zipped thigh pockets and elasticated cuffs to help keep out water and trail debris.
Flux and PrimaLoft additions
The Flux 3-Layer Waterproof Smock Trail Jacket has also been fully redesigned. Positioned as Madison’s lighter, more packable mountain bike waterproof, the smock now uses three-layer construction with a 20,000mm waterproof rating and breathability of 20,000g/m²/24 hours.
Features include a relaxed fit, stretch fabric, articulated shaping, an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, elasticated cuffs, a dropped rear hem, an adjustable drawcord, two hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket.
Completing the key AW26 launches is the DTE Packable PrimaLoft Thermal Jacket, which uses PrimaLoft insulation made with recycled content alongside brushed Isoler thermal Roubaix fabric for warmth in cold and wet conditions.
The jacket also includes a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish, wind-resistant construction, stretch panels, elasticated cuffs and hem, a silicone hem gripper, dropped rear hem, two hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket.
