London-based cycling apparel brand, Universal Colours, has announced the launch of its new collection for spring, summer 2025 and beyond.
The brand releases its first drop, featuring its Chroma Bib Short in Navy, Brick Red, Warm Grey and Black alongside the Chroma Light Jersey in Dusty Lilac for both men and women. The second drop, to be released week commencing Monday, April 28, will see the introduction of new Chroma Jerseys.
At launch, the brand has highlighted that all garments within the new SS25 collection are made in Lithuania by a bluesign-accredited factory, LTP – one of Europe’s leading sportswear manufacturers, and a long-term manufacturing partner of the brand.
Now in its fifth year, the business “remains focused on technical and durable performance fabrics, while promoting a timeless, minimalist look”.
First drop
Available now, the first SS25 drop sees the addition of new colourways for the men’s and women’s Chroma Bib Short.
Created from a high-stretch woven fabric, the brand points out that Chroma bib shorts are designed to “offer compression while its matte, dry-feeling properties provide a buttery soft feel against the skin”.
Durable performance is also said to be at the heart of the Chroma bib shorts, with “the premium French woven nylon offering an increased lifespan of up to seven times compared to its knit counterpart”.
To partner the bib shorts, the brand offers its Chroma Light Jersey – designed for high summer, and, for SS25, now also available in Dusty Lilac. Described as “Featherweight, stretchy, quick-drying and highly breathable”, the Chroma jersey has been “optimised for longer summer days in the saddle”.
Second drop
The second drop for SS25, released a week later, sees the introduction of the brand new Chroma Jersey for men and women.

Made from Global Recycled Standard polyester and Italian woven fabrics, this jersey aims to offer fast-drying and moisture-wicking properties that are ideal for temperature regulation.
The matte finish fabric is slightly heavier than the Chroma Light Jersey, offering year-round versatility (coming in at 110 gsm vs 90 gsm). “True to brand beliefs, the new Chroma Jersey will be made available in the same colourways for men and women”: Sky Blue, Off-White, Jaipur Red and Midnight Blue.
Rounding off the brand’s full offering for this season, the Mono 2.0 bib short and Mono Cargo bib short were recently introduced.
The new release is now available on universalcolours.com and through select retail partners.
