Giant has completed a major refurbishment of its long-standing Giant Swansea Store, following 10 years of successful trading. Operated by Tredz, the upgraded store aligns with the brand’s omnichannel growth strategy and now stands as one of the largest Giant Stores in the UK.
The £250,000 refurbishment reflects Giant and Tredz continued commitment to South Wales, where Tredz is headquartered, and supports a broader strategy to enhance the customer experience across both online and retail stores.
The newly fitted Giant Store features an expansive layout designed to provide a premium retail experience for cyclists of all levels. It showcases the full range of Giant Liv, Cadex and Momentum products.
The new store design promotes greater customer engagement, fostering a deeper connection with the brands through an interactive and welcoming environment. The updated store experience is a key step in Giant and Tredz shared mission to make cycling more accessible, while continuing to provide expert advice and service to all cyclists.
Commenting on the newly refurbished store, Ian Beasant, MD at Giant UK, shared his excitement about Giant Swansea, stating: “We are thrilled to provide an exceptional retail experience for cyclists! The recent store refit presents a wonderful opportunity to highlight our brands, complemented by our dedicated store team’s outstanding customer service.
“Together, we are committed to creating an engaging and vibrant atmosphere for every visitor. We look forward to collaborating with key partners to nurture and grow the cycling community, which remains central to our mission.”

Pippa Wibberley, MD at Tredz, said: “This investment into our Giant Swansea site is so exciting. Our partnership with Giant in Swansea goes back more than 10 years, and this new investment cements the fantastic relationship we have out into the future. It is a core building block of our broader retail strategy to create premium, experience-led environments that work hand in hand with our online offer.
“South Wales has always been at the heart of our business, and we’re proud to continue investing in the region. This is about more than just store design. It’s a statement of intent around the future of cycling retail and our role within it.”
At the official relaunch, guests took part in live Zwift racing, saw product showcases, and got to take a first look at the refreshed layout.
Future retail in focus
The project forms part of a broader strategic vision for Tredz as it continues to expand its retail and digital footprint across the UK.
The business is focused on delivering a seamless omnichannel experience, with further investment planned in customer experience, servicing capability and community engagement that meet the needs of today’s riders across the country.
