Digital marketing executive – Silverfish UK

Silverfish has been increasingly focused on developing its digital marketing capabilities; social media, email and website, and it is looking for someone to help implement further improvements. The digital marketing executive will look after all its social media activity across multiple channels, speaking to over 100,000 followers. You will also be responsible for setting up and running social media advertising and contributing to outbound email marketing activity. Working as part of the marketing team it operates a relaxed, creative environment where it delivers stylish and engaging marketing campaigns which enhance its brands and excite its retailer partners and their customers.

Sales Agent(s) – ASSOS of Switzerland

Owing to increased expansion, ASSOS of Switzerland is looking for sales agent(s) to represent the brand selling its cutting edge and market-leading cycling apparel in the North of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and/or the Republic of Ireland. Results-driven, you will be focused on account development and nurturing existing accounts, prospecting and finding new accounts, while ensuring that everything ASSOS represents is reflected in the marketplace.

Lead academy instructor – bicycle maintenance – Cycle Systems

Cycle Systems is looking for someone to join its company who would thrive in a responsible position, and who also shares its passion for cycle tech. You must have at least a decade of professional bicycle workshop experience. The applicant must also thrive in a teaching environment, be a friendly and clear communicator, be exceptionally well organised and reliable, and able to adhere to systems already in place. An entertaining streak is also a plus. Ideally, you will also be qualified to a level 3 in Bicycle Maintenance and Repair, and to a level 3 in Teaching and Assessing. However, experience also counts and teaching/assessment qualifications can be undertaken once in the position.

Deputy manager – Giant Cambridge Store – Rutland Cycling

In the key role of deputy manager, you will be assisting the store manager to effectively manage and maintain a profitable and sales driven store. Working closely with all team members, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer care both in the workshop and on the sales floor. To fulfil this role, you will have a strong retail sales background. Whilst this may not have been gained in the bike industry, ideally, you will have cycle specific mechanical knowledge. You will also have an ability to deliver on store KPIs, as well as the achievement of budgeted sales and profit targets. Sound interpersonal skills and a high level of self-motivation are essential attributes.

Senior mechanic – Alpine Bikes

Alpine Bikes Aberdeen is currently looking to recruit an experienced senior mechanic to work in its busy workshop. The successful candidate will have experience working in the bike industry and bike workshops and will ideally be qualified to Cytech level 2 or equivalent. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly of new bikes, identifying faults, damage and wear, carrying out minor repairs, repairing/replacing damaged or worn-out components, wheel truing/building, carrying out routine services and safety checks, cleaning, degreasing and lubricating bicycles and components, advising customers on repairs and more.
