Retail store manager – Cycle Route

Cycle Route Lincs has an opportunity for an experienced, personable and knowledgeable manager to work at its Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire store. You will possess a passion for all things cycling and be able to offer outstanding customer service across all forms of customer enquiry. The position is full time and the store closes on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Cycle Route is an all-round store with mountain, road, commute and e-bikes, well represented along with extensive clothing and accessory line, so you will hold suitable experience across a broad range. You will be able to work efficiently within a tight knit team, be computer literate and interested in becoming part of a growing team. 

PR manager – Shift Active Media

This role will be varied, busy, challenging and very creative and will require you to work closely with the senior management team at Shift. As PR manager, you will work with the account management, social media and creative teams, as well as members of the senior management. A key part of the role will be to build a close working relationship with clients to understand their strategic goals and work with them to deliver their objectives. You will drive client PR strategy and, along with the account management team, become a key contact for clients. You will produce and deliver against an agreed PR plan and budget. 

Full-time workshop mechanic – The Bicycle Service

The Bicycle Service is looking for an experienced mechanic to join the team in a full time position. Previous experience of high end road and mountain bike systems is essential, as well as the ability to work productively in an unsupervised environment. Daily duties will include service and repair of bicycles, custom assembly of high end bicycles, wheel builds, brake bleeds, Di2 fit/diagnoses/repair, customer liaison, booking in and collection, stock management, and servicing of suspension and dropper posts. It requires the candidate to have at least level two Cytech and work with a high level of craftsmanship with keen attention to detail. 

Merchandiser – Rutland Cycling

Based at the Manton Head Office just outside Oakham, you will be working alongside colleagues in the fast paced commercial team. The role has responsibility for online merchandising of a full range of cycling related products, providing commercial input to shape the future development of the different product categories, and conducting various routine tasks to support the wider business KPIs of exceeding sales and margin targets, while still achieving stock targets. You will need to be enthusiastic and positive, commercially engaged, have strong IT skills and a great attention to detail with an aptitude to being analytical, as well as a challenging approach to continually seek out improvements. 

Social media manager – Shift Active Media

You will plan, drive and implement social marketing for Shift Active Media clients, taking responsibility for ensuring that all social content is delivered against a strategic plan, is creatively brilliant, and is effective and achievable within budgets. You must have experience of working in a social media role within an agency or for a brand or distributor. You will have spent a number of years specifically developing social plans and content. You will have experience working with well-known brands and can demonstrate how your ideas have made a tangible difference to campaign or business performance. A significant interest in, or passion for cycling is essential.
