Johns Bikes in Bath to close

A bike shop in Bath that has been running since the 1970s is to close, Somerset Live reports.

The “oldest bike shop in Bath”, John Bikes, is closing its doors to the public at the end of November.

The shop said on its Facebook page: “Thank you to everyone for your love and support over the last 42 and a bit years.

“Cakes are always appreciated in these hard times. We are open until the end of the month, if you haven’t popped in for a while, come in and say hi and goodbye.”
