As Wahoo’s UK technical representative, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground within the UK dealer market, to ensure product knowledge, awareness, activation and presentation is best-in-class throughout Wahoo’s exclusive dealer network in the UK. This position has a specific territorial focus on North Wales, Central/Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will be based in or within close proximity to Yorkshire.
Bike mechanic – Biketart
The role: PDI’ing bikes for collection or dispatch, custom bike builds, bike servicing and repairs, suspension servicing and wheel building. The candidate may also be required to assist in other areas if the workshop is quiet. You need to be passionate about cycling, especially mountain biking; knowledgeable of the latest MTB products; a reliable, dedicated and conscientious individual that has a keen attention to detail; hugely organised, capable of scheduling and prioritising workshop jobs; a good communicator, confident face-to-face, by phone and email; confident on computer systems for working in our tech driven online and retail environment; trained to Cytech 2 or 3 (or equivalent) or with the suitable knowledge and skills required.
Workshop mechanic – full time – Stif Mountain Bikes
Stif Mountain Bikes is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic workshop mechanic to join its Summerbridge store. The mechanic will be primarily working with high end full-suspension mountain bikes. With this in mind, Cytech qualifications are advantageous, but most importantly, experience servicing, repairing and building full suspension mountain bikes. Personal experience of fork and shock servicing, as well as bearing changes is essential. The right candidate will be sales and customer service driven. You would be working directly with customers to meet their service and build needs. An approachable manner, excellent communication skills and good telephone manner are a must. Experience using an EPOS system is advantageous.
Stans NoTubes and Goodyear Bicycle Tyres sales and brand merchandising executive – Paligap
Main responsibilities will include setting best practice for the brands in the market, maximising sales in existing dealers, signing up new dealers and growing the Stans NoTubes/Goodyear sales throughout London, the South East and home counties. You will also be actively involved in providing regular market feedback, providing training to dealers and be an integral part of any new product launches. Key tasks: daily field sales calls, merchandising and topping up POS units to gain orders; provide staff training in existing and prospective stockists to keep staff informed and excited about the Stans NoTubes and Goodyear Bicycle Tyres brands; dealer event support and attendance; range expansion within existing dealers; and signing up new stockists.
UK bike sales manager – Scott Sports SA
This is an office-based role reporting directly to the general manager and leading a team of five highly motivated sales professionals. You will be responsible for the overall sales growth and development of a dealer network of retail accounts across the Scott, Bergamont and Syncros brands. Not only bikes but components, clothing and accessories sold into a quality IBD network. You will also hold a strong relationship with the general manager and the marketing manager to deliver on matters of budget, sales forecasting, brand events and KPI measurement. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced within the UK cycle industry.
