VELOBerlin 2019 to expand with further increase in exhibitor numbers

Organisers of VELOBerlin, Velokonzept and Messe Friedrichshafen, have added a ‘significant’ amount of further extra exhibition space to this year’s event.

The festival will take place over a total exhibition space of 25,000 square metres, and the outdoor exhibition area under the large roof is also growing to meet demand from exhibitors.

The Velo “Testival and Side-Events” area is also expanding to include more exhibitors with greater numbers of bikes to test ride, more diverse test routes and a new area for kids and young riders, “Velo YoungStars”.

“Many potential exhibitors waited to see how the new VELOBerlin at Tempelhof Airport developed. They carefully followed the changes introduced in 2018, attended the event as guests and have now decided that VELOBerlin is the ideal location to present their brand this season,” said Stefan Reisinger, head of Eurobike, and Katja Richarz, project leader VELOBerlin at Velokonzept.

Exhibitors will include Cannondale, Cube, Giant, Stevens, Specialized and Winora and Haibike, as well as specialist wholesalers such as Traffic Distribution with Bombtrack, Cinelli and Genesis.

The Berlin bike festival will return to Tempelhof Airport from 27th to 28th April 2019.
