Part time mechanic x 2 – Nottingham Bikeworks

Nottingham Bikeworks is looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience in delivering high standards of customer service and an in-depth knowledge of cycle servicing and repair to primarily support its customer workshop activities. However a flexible approach to work is required as the posts will often support our community activities which include group work, training and mobile Dr Bike sessions. Ideally you will have an industry recognised qualification, however training to level 2 will be available for the right candidate. The retail outlet is open Monday to Saturday, it is flexible which days the successful candidate will be working however there is an expectation that they will join the Saturday rota. Occasional evening and Sunday working will be required to support events, classes and activities.

Brand marketing executive – Raleigh

You will report to the brand managers and assist with all aspects of managing marketing campaigns across various channels and assist with the wider marketing function to deliver campaigns on key business objectives. Ideally you will have proven experience as a marketing executive, or a similar role with a thorough knowledge of strategic planning principals and best practices with a passion for creating and managing content across a range of platforms. It is essential that you have an excellent understanding and experience of using multiple brand voices and are proficient in MS Office and marketing software (eg CRM) with strong organisational, excellent communication and people skills with a creativity and commercial awareness.

Essential skills require a flexible self driven and motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Knowledgeable and an interest in cycling is essential but training for the right candidate will be provided. Wheel builder/bicycle technician – Saddleback

Saddleback is looking for a new wheel builder/bicycle technician to join its growing team of bike enthusiasts, in Yate, Bristol, to assist in the production of the world’s finest bike wheels. This dynamic role will give you the chance to get your hands on Enve’s handmade carbon rims as well as Chris King’s hubs and components and combine them into cycling masterpieces that will blow customers away. You will also work on key warranty and service tasks to ensure customers receive a truly exceptional experience. As well as spending the majority your time in our bespoke wheel building room, you’ll also support the bike workshop team when necessary with the assembly, set up and maintenance of high-end Intense and 3T bikes, ensuring each is built to the highest possible standard. The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional attention to detail, a love of cycling, be absolutely passionate about wheel and bike building and take the utmost pride in the quality and reliability of their work.

Events and campaign co-ordinator – Raleigh

Reporting to the brand manager you will assist in the brand management team in delivering a comprehensive events and training programme aimed at delivering on key business objectives. You will be required to work with the wider marketing function to assist and deliver campaigns that will help to drive business value. Skills and qualifications will include the following: excellent communication and people skills is essential along with great attention to detail and strong organisational skills, good planning and logistical knowledge, you should have a thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices, preferably with experience in a marketing role, good understanding and experience of using multiple brand voices, you should be creative and have a strong commercial awareness, and excellent writing skills and proficient in MS Office is essential.
