Programme Manager – Micromobility
We are looking for a Micromobility Programme Manager to join us here at South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority. Joining the Active Travel team, you will work with local, regional, and national partners to shape, develop, and influence the implementation of e-bikes, e-scooters and other forms of micromobility in South Yorkshire, leading more people to get easily to job and study opportunities. The key focus for the role will be developing, launching and then leading our £1m+ innovative e-bike subscription programme, one of the largest in the country, with a social enterprise business model focussed on supporting those who will benefit the most.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Micromobility Project Manager who can support the coordination and delivery of a range of e-bike, e-scooter and other micromobility programmes across South Yorkshire. You will play a key role delivering against ‘Our strategy for walking, wheeling and cycling in South Yorkshire’, supporting our ‘software’ measures, provided alongside our ‘hardware’ for people to feel capable of walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling more, and to feel motivated to do so.

It is an incredibly exciting time to join our team, as the store in London has recently undergone a significant refit over last winter, cementing itself as the leading flagship bicycle brand store in the heart of the West End. The store is the window for the brand globally and the role of Sales Advisor is a key part of this team, providing an excellent standard of customer service and advice.

A person who is also willing to be a team member with a strong detail-oriented approach, meticulous in their approach and takes great pride in their work. Ideally you will have experience in a customer facing role.
We are looking for a team player who is passionate about cycling; a person of sterling character with a demonstrable mechanical aptitude and competence, plus a familiarity with all the systems on modern bicycles. Confident in dealing with members of the public as selling is part of the job in an open workshop. A clean driving licence would also be useful.

Customer Service and Warranty Advisor
This role will be a key part of our team, providing the best customer service and support of warranty claims for both our retailers and consumers.
Responsibilities for this role include serving customers showing high standards of customer care at all times, providing a helpful and friendly service. To manage the customer service enquiry inbox, and respond to customers in a timely manner. To manage our claims portal with the retailers, which consists of returns, warranties and other matters. To coordinate warranty claims with the consumer and retailer. To process and track warranty claims, working closely with our Italian colleagues. To provide expert advice and creative problem solving to resolve queries, in conjunction with our technical team.
Individual requirements of this role include the folliwng. Ideally this person has experience in this type of role and have a basic mechanical understanding of modern bicycles. E-Bike knowledge would be an advantage. This person will be passionate about bicycles and the sport. This person needs to have excellent communication skills and be a good listener. This person must be well organised and proficient with the use of Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of CRM systems would be an advantage.
