This is a hands-on role combining product expertise, technical support, dealer training, network development, event management and owning the National Demo program. Key responsibilities for this role include brand and dealer support, technical support and training, field sales support and events and demo activities.

Bikes N Gear is a family-run bike shop operating in Knutsford, Cheshire since 1991. The shop is a Shimano Service Centre and represents high-end brands including Wilier, Orbea, Scott, Whyte and Gusto.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Bike Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. Successful applicants will be Cytech Level Two qualified, be confident working independently, and be comfortable engaging with customers for both sales and service inquiries. Applicants must have a passion for and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Recyke y’Bike is a bike recycling charity based in Byker and Chester-le-Street. We have just celebrated our 20th birthday and are going from strength to strength. At Recyke y’bike, we believe that bikes are a great way to address a range of social, economic and environmental issues (transport poverty, health inequalities, mental health, unemployment) as well as being really fun! With this belief and passion, we are committed to empowering more people to have access to a bike alongside the skills to keep it working.
We do this by taking unwanted bikes and refurbish them with a team of volunteers. The bikes are then either given to individuals who have been referred to us or sold in our retail stores. Alongside refurbishing bikes, we offer commercial servicing and repairs, and sales of new and second-hand bike parts and accessories. We run a huge range of outreach across the North East, such as Dr Bikes, workshops and training opportunities.
This role is a well-established store manager role for our main site and HQ – Byker. Based within the shop, the role will be hands-on, including on the tools, serving customers and line managing mechanics and volunteers across the site. We sell the latest products from the leading brands across all cycling disciplines – mountain, road, electric, leisure, kids and adventure. You will be a positive team player; sales focused and offer a best-in-class customer experience through great dynamics, premium servicing, accurate service bookings and time management. The role is fast paced, varied and testing.
You will be a key member of the workshop team at our fully re-fitted professional workshop supporting the Workshop Manager. We run a professional team of technicians at all our cycle stores, and you will need to integrate well into the busy yet relaxed environment of our pro-workshop. You will need to ensure all our customers are treated professionally, politely and leave the workshop feeling that they have received great customer service.
