Tredz has announced the launch of Bike Garage, powered by Bike Matrix.
Tredz says the new compatibility tool is designed to help cyclists buy replacement parts and upgrades with greater confidence.
Bike Garage, powered by Bike Matrix, is available across product pages on the Tredz website, enabling customers to identify their bike by make, model, year, specification and frame size before checking compatibility with a growing range of replacement parts and components. Once a bike has been selected, Bike Garage remembers those details, making future compatibility checks quicker and more convenient.
Lyndal Bailey, Co-Founder at Bike Matrix, said:
“We started Bike Matrix with a vision to transform the bicycle industry by creating a trusted, independent compatibility solution that enables retailers, service providers, manufacturers and riders to find the right parts for a selected bike.
We’re proud to support Tredz as they take the first step in their Bike Garage journey. We value working with companies that are willing to challenge the status quo and invest in improving the way riders find replacement parts. Together, we’re helping create a more confident and connected ownership experience for cyclists.”
Tredz says initial customer feedback has already demonstrated the positive impact Bike Garage can have on the customer shopping experience. Customers are already successfully using the compatibility tool and have reinforced the confidence that compatibility guidance can bring when purchasing bike parts and upgrades as part of the UX journey.
Andrew Murray, Project Lead at Tredz, said:
“This is a game-changing step towards creating a truly personalised ownership experience for our customers. Early testing has already shown the difference compatibility guidance can make, with more customers completing their purchases, larger basket values and significantly lower basket abandonment.
This is just the beginning of the journey we’re building at Tredz as we continue to make buying and owning a bike simpler and more enjoyable.”
Tredz says this is part of its ongoing commitment to improving the customer experience beyond the initial bike purchase.Â
