Tannus is showcasing its new Armour tyre insert at the Taipei Cycle Show, before it officially goes on sale worldwide for the first time.
The new product will be in stores across the UK, Europe, the USA, Asia and Latin America from April 4th 2019. Tannus is distributed by Moore Large in the UK.
The brand said: “Since Armour’s soft unveiling last Autumn, the positive feedback across Europe at bike shows has been a revelation. The product is already in high demand and comes in ten different sizes. The range of sizes has massively extended to make it a viable option for any- thing from mountain biking to commuting, and cycle cross to touring.”
At its thickest point, the top of the Armour is around 15mm, which combined with a tyre provides in excess of 20mm of puncture protection. The walls are around 2mm thick and encase the inner tube, providing additional lateral protection from punctures to the sidewall as well as pinch flats.
Visitors can view the tyres at stand LO525 at Taipei Cycle from March 27th to 30th.
