BESPOKED and SRAM have announced the four recipients of the 2026 SRAM Inclusivity Scholarship, a programme created to support framebuilders who feel they are not currently represented fairly within cycling and framebuilding.

Now in its fourth year, the scholarship is designed to help selected builders share their work, develop industry connections and exhibit at one of the world’s leading handmade bicycle shows.

The 2026 recipients are Vincent Morassi of morassiframes, Carlos Santa Clara of Santa Clara Bikes Unipessoal Lda, Daniel Hoffman of Resonance Cycles and Harry Prescott of HP Bikes.

The selected builders will exhibit at BESPOKED Dresden, which takes place from 11-13 September 2026 at Dresden International Airport.

According to BESPOKED and SRAM, this year’s recipients reflect a range of experiences, perspectives and approaches to framebuilding, while sharing a commitment to craft, creativity and the wider cycling community.

Vincent Morassi, morassiframes, will showcase an ultra-light stainless steel bikepacking bike designed for extreme mountain races including the Seven Serpents, Trans Balkan Race and Alps Divide.

Morassi said the scholarship offers an opportunity to put their work as a framebuilder in the public eye while helping build greater acceptance of queer people within the bicycle framebuilding community.

Carlos Santa Clara, Santa Clara Bikes Unipessoal Lda, plans to create a special version of the Nyanga, inspired by the intersection of his Zimbabwean heritage and life in Portugal.

Santa Clara said growing up in Zimbabwe shaped his approach to design, where bicycles were often repaired, adapted and kept running, giving him an early appreciation of function, longevity and the relationship between rider and machine.

Daniel Hoffman, Resonance Cycles, will present an aggressive race-geometry road bike using natural biocomposite materials including flax fibre, Sitka spruce, hardwood veneer and bio-epoxy.

Hoffman said the project is intended to explore an alternative to conventional high-performance frame materials, aiming for “the stiffness of carbon with the road feel and character of steel or titanium”.

Harry Prescott, HP Bikes, will bring an enduro mountain bike featuring 160mm rear travel, mixed wheel sizes, potential gearbox integration, adjustable geometry and suspension designed to explore new possibilities in mountain bike design.

Prescott, a 23-year-old engineer from the north of England, said cost, tools, equipment and promotion can all be barriers for young builders looking to reach new audiences.

Scholarship support

The recipients will receive funded exhibition space at BESPOKED Dresden, support and mentorship ahead of the event, promotional opportunities across BESPOKED and SRAM channels, SRAM components to support their builds and financial support towards participation costs.

BESPOKED thanked SRAM for continuing to support the programme and helping create opportunities for more people to participate in and shape the future of framebuilding.
