The FT4 and FT7 are designed around fashion and function in fitness

Polar announces two new models

Polar has announced that it will soon carry two new fitness monitors for those seeking a fashionable solution to tracking their progress in sport.

The two models assist the user in training at the right intensity for steady progress. Both models are suited to those who want simple heart rate features, notably indicating to the user when the heart rate is in the desired zone.

The FT7 goes a little further for those looking to progress faster. The EnergyPointer feature tells the user if the main effect of their training is fitness improvement or burning fat. This feature counts the center point of these two training effects based on heart rate variability and visually indicates if the heart rate is below or above that point. When the heart rate is below the point, the user is burning fat. Above the point, the user is improving their aerobic fitness, a feature unique to Polar’s systems.
