Evopos ‘on target’ to meet ‘Making Tax Digital’ requirements

Evopos has announced that its development team is ‘on target’ to meet the Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.

This April all companies that are VAT registered must submit their VAT returns electronically using HMRC complaint software, and Evopos is working closely with HMRC to make sure that its dealer management software is MTD compliant.

Managing director Denis Bullen said that this is an ‘important step forward’ for both Evopos UK and dealers.

This new feature will enable dealers who are using the Evopos accounting package to upload their VAT returns directly to HMRC.

The Evopos management team has decided that there will be no additional charge for this feature and it will be included in an Evopos upgrade free of charge, within the accounting package.
