Enduro Bearings has unveiled two new additions to its Pro Tools line-up: the Linear Headset Bearing Press and Headset Bearing Workbench Mat.
Eurobike also represented the European introduction of the company’s patented Maxhit T47 Bottom Bracket series alongside a full complement of lifetime warranted products: XD15 bearings, Maxhit bottom brackets and headsets, and Directline derailleur pulleys.
“At Enduro, we’re always exploring ways to make riding and wrenching more efficient and enjoyable. The Linear Headset Bearing Press alongside our recently introduced Linear Hub and Pivot Press demonstrate our ongoing commitment to simplifying life in the workshop,” said Rick Sutton, Enduro’s business development and marketing director.
“With the growing popularity of the T47 bottom bracket standard, our patented Maxhit component line adds nine T47 variants, boosting our bottom bracket family to over 200.”
The all-new Linear Headset Press, featuring a quick-action Zip-Nut, is designed and manufactured to exacting tolerances for a more precise headset installation. The toolset includes a 3/8-inch (10mm), 350mm long Acme threaded rod, a pair of interchangeable Quick Handles, a Zip-Nut, and a full complement of guides to ensure efficient installation.
The patented, all-440C stainless steel, lifetime warranted Maxhit Bottom Brackets and Headsets remove the need for traditional aluminium bearing cups.
Maxhit is a one-piece system: the outer bearing race threads, presses, or drops into the frame.
Eurobike represented the first opportunity for riders, media, distributors and dealers to hold and spin the T47 Maxhit BB in all of its iterations.
An Enduro exclusive XD15 hub and bottom bracket bearings are “the pinnacle” of the brand’s bearing technology and include a lifetime warranty.
XD15 bearings combine silicon nitride balls with a nitrogen-infused, aerospace stainless steel bearing race that is designed to never rust or corrode.
The bearing race is optimised so that, should grit find its way through the double-lip labyrinth seals, the bearing’s rolling surfaces will not pit. The grit polishes the bearing races smoother.
Enduro’s Directline Derailleur Pulleys are machined from Teflon-infused 500 AF Delrin to reduce friction.
The pulleys spin on corrosion-proof XD15 ceramic-hybrid bearings. A CN (tight clearance) upper pulley bearing maximises shifting accuracy, while C4 (floating clearance) lower pulley bearing promotes unconstrained chain-line movement.
The Directline ‘hubcap’ nests in a machined recess, acting as an additional bad weather shield.
