Like many, I used the impending deluge on Winnat’s Pass to chicken out and plump for the 69 mile ‘short cut’.
Anyway, top marks to CTC organisers who staged a superb ride, backed up with some highly professional course literature.
The ride was to raise funds for the CTC Cyclists’ Defence Fund. A cheque for £100 will be winging towards the CTC as the BikeBiz contribution to this important new service for cyclists.
