Bad News comes true

According to Bikemagic.com she fell overboard on a rafting trip, was knocked unconcious and was swept down river.

She was last seen by the trade at Bike2000.

Sarah was famously once pictured in MBUK with very little on, sharing a beer, a hot-tub and some laughs with her great friend Ross Shafer of Salsa.

Her fanzine Bad News was famous in the trade for its references to sex, booze and riding.

Well miss you Sarah, is how Brant Richards headlined his piece on todays Bikemagic news story on Sarahs untimely death.

Chipps Chippendale of 9feet.com wrote: To say that Sarah was a large influence on the UK scene would not be an understatement. Along with her ex-husband Gez Jones, she produced ‘Bad News’ zine, was instrumental in promoting Bontrager bikes in the UK, was a Race Editor and reporter for MBUK and was, well, just fun to be around.
