Astana’s Jakob Fuglsang invests in Isolés

Danish cycle clothing brand Isolés has welcomed Jakob Fuglsang as investor and part owner.

Fuglsang rides in the WorldTour for Astana and will bring a decade of experience at the “sharp end” of professional cycling. “I have been keeping an eye on Isolés for the past six months,” he said. “It has proven that cycling clothes do not have to be screaming colours and advertising logos. The team behind the brand has great ambitions, and that motivates me a lot. I think the potential for Isolés is huge.”

Fuglsang added that his investment in Isolés was a long-term project and he is presently focused on the cycling WorldTour. He took a podium position on the Strade Bianche in Italy on 9th March, coming second. “We have set a plan for how I can take more responsibility in the development of the brand in the future. I am sure I can help create even more technical collections and refine the products,” he said.

Isolés is a Danish brand established in 2018 to create “functional, elegant cycle clothing with the emphasis on fit, quality and an understated aesthetic”. It also said it is dedicated to sustainability in its manufacture and where possible uses environmentally friendly materials and production methods.
