100% launches four new protective gear lines

100% has announced the launch of four distinct protective gear lines, for knee and elbow protection.

The brand has incorporated ergonomic right and left shapes in each gear model for comfort, and has included proprietary impact absorbing gel types for protection. Each model is designed to appeal to specific protection needs, and together, the complete line presets a “single brand solution for almost every protection need”, the brand has said.

The Surpass ‘CE Level 2′ is designed to be the “ultimate choice for lightweight coverage with zero compromise”. It features a hard-shell protective slider for abrasion resistance, which has been tested to make sure it stands up to riders’ downhill needs. The non-slip-on design, the Fortis ‘CE Level 1’, is “light enough for cross country and protective enough for gravity rides”.

The Teratec concept is a slim, full-length ultralight Lycra sleeve that is ‘CE Level 1’ certified and designed with the “right materials in the right places”. It is primarily designed for enduro/all-mountain to provide “serious protection and peace of mind”, while still offering advanced material breathability and flexibility. Finally, the Ridecamp is a “simple, sleek and effective choice for cross-country and light-duty ride needs”.

The new protection line takes its place in the 100% 2019 spring bike collection with the brand’s new gear and refreshed goggle line-up, as well as new glove and casual wear lines.

Silverfish will distribute this in the UK and ROI, and the range will be available from next week.
