Designed in Hampshire and manufactured in East Yorkshire, Wheelgoo is a new puncture sealant product using nano technology.
Injected into the tyre through the valve, it can be used to prevent punctures and also for roadside repairs. According to designers Eiatech, it is more effective than other puncture repair or prevention products due to that nano tech, which can seal multiple punctures and last the lifespan of the tyre.
Grotech Production, manufacturer of powder and liquid agrichemical formulations and general chemical applications, have launched the product and together with Eiatech have invested over £100,000 in development of Wheelgo over three years.
While the product is already available to buy online, Grotech said it is in discussion with a number of potential stockists.
Grotech MD Martin Usher, managing director said: “The unique nano technology behind the product means that it works in a different way to other products on the market. It’s also much more user-friendly and cost-effective because it comes with everything you need to insert it into your tyres; there are no costly hidden extras.

It gives you peace of mind knowing that, even if you or one of your children are unlucky enough to get a puncture, you won’t get a flat tyre.”
The cycle commuters of Leeds had chance to try out Wheelgoo at Leeds Cyclepoint. Pictured, Wheelgoo’s Martin Proctor is applying the product to commuter Emily Ogden’s bike, overseen by the slightly troubling Wheelgoo ‘Morph’.
