New Novatec carbon and alloy rims

Novatec has unveiled an all-new range of rims for 2013, including carbon and alloy construction for both road and off-road.

Full carbon road rims are available in tubular and clincher variants with conventional and 24mm widths and profiles in 28, 38, 50, 55 and 90mm deep. Alloy road rims use Novatec’s proprietary Tubeless Ready profile. Tubular models are also available and will come in 22, 24, 28 and 32mm profiles.

Off-road rims all use Novatec’s Tubeless Ready profile in 18, 20, 23, 25mm inner widths and 26-inch and 29-inch variants. Alloy 27.5-inch rims are also included in the line-up with 20 and 23mm inner widths. Carbon off-road rims are available with 21mm inner widths and come in 27.5-inch sizes as well as 26-inch and 29-inch.

Novatec has a lot of OEM business, the firm told BikeBiz, with most of its business seeing product hit shelves with customer’s logos.

While the firm doesn’t have a specific UK distributor, Novatec has a Slovakia warehouse from which it supplies UK customers. However the brand told BikeBiz it would welcome discussions to set up a distribution network on these shores.
