The countdown to the Wiggle-sponsored Mountain Mayhem is being taken care of by Wenger watches, the new official timing sponsor.
Mountain Mayhem, probably the world’s largest 24-hour MTB enduro event, will see Wenger give away their converted Off Road Watches to the fastest riders between midnight and 01:00am.
Distributed in the UK by Whitby & Co, Wenger watches – pitched at outdoor enthusiasts – feature Swiss Quartz movement and are water resistant down to 100m.
Whitby & Co marketing and sales director Garry Woodhouse said: “2012 looks set to be a record breaking year for Wiggle Mountain Mayhem with some of the best mountain bikers in the world competing alongside the families, spectators and riders of all abilities who make this event such a major feature in the mountain biking calendar.
“Wenger is proud to sponsor this tough, endurance event and will be recognising the talent and determination of the fastest non-professional male and female riders between midnight and one am – both will win a Wenger Off Road Watch worth £174.95."
