Epiclist offers 13,000 adventures at your fingertip

Vaude acquires adventure mobile app Epiclist

Outdoor clothing label Vaude has acquired mobile app Epiclist, a platform that offers 13,000 adventures at your fingertips.

Popular internationally, Epiclist encourages users to seek adventure both locally and abroad, enabling users to plan and document their trips. Users from over 70 countries have so far contributed to the community.

For Vaude, this means access to countless outdoor enthusiasts. Manfred Meindl, head of online marketing at Vaude said: "We are delighted to enter the app stores with an application that suits us perfectly. Vaude is reacting to the changing behavior of its consumers and will now maintain direct contact with its target group via smartphone. In addition, the app provides users with real added value.”

The business will now continue to develop the English-language app for explorers on its own. Epiclist is compatible with the operating system Apple iOS at present.

High profile explorers and adventurers such as Matt Prior, Dave Cornthwaite, Al Humphreys, Brendan van Son, Charli Moore, Emily Penn and Susi Mai have supported the travel community and already contributed their travel experiences.
