Upgrade Bikes has picked up sole UK distribution for Phoenix, Arizona-based Pivot Cycles, offering the whole range from the brand to dealers.
Pivot Cycles was founded in 2007 by legendary bike designer Chris Cocalis – the man who fronted Titus for 17 years.
Despite being a young brand Pivot has received impressive reviews from UK magazines, according to the firm, and has established itself in the enduro, XC and downhill disciplines. All Pivot bikes and frames use the multi-world championship winning DW-Link patented suspension design.
“We’re all true mountain bikers at Upgrade and we’re so impressed with Pivot’s ethos and quality," said Tom Varkala, Pivot UK Brand Specialist. "We’re very pleased that we now get to use that enthusiasm and make them available in the UK.“
Pivot has enhanced its frame range for 2011, with details on those set to be available soon.
