New Dutch distribution office and warehouse

UK and Irish growth forces Cube Bikes move

Growth in the UK and Ireland has led Cube Bikes to move into a new office and integrated warehouse – it’s fifth location in ten years.

Oneway Bike*/Cube Bike’s move to the new premises near Rotterdam, Netherlands, were branded a necessity by the firm following four years of strong expansion.

The new warehouse now features a 30,000 bike capacity, with a separate location for P&A.

CEO Lennard van Winden explained: “Our old office became a little small with our expansion in the last four years, with our staff number growing from six to 21.

“Especially the growth in our UK and Irish markets demanded wider and deeper stock positions. In our new warehouse we are able to carry stock of 30,000 bikes plus a separate location for Cube parts and accessories.”

The move took place last weekend (January 22nd and 23rd) with minimal disruption, the firm said.

Sales Manager Bart van den Biggelaar added: “The new pride of our company is our showroom for bikes, parts and accessories – complete with training facilities for our ‘Cube Academy’, which will be launched this spring.

“We also plan to make this service available for our UK and Irish customers. Later in the season this will also be the location for our new product launches.”
