The Cycle Show, the UK’s national cycling showcase is returning to Birmingham’s NEC from 28th to 30th September, with a trade day on 27th September.
The show will feature over 300 exhibitors, the very latest kit and accessories and 500 plus cycling brands including Bianchi, Calibre, Canyon, Cannondale, Condor, Colnago, Cube, DMR Bikes, Dolan, GT Grade, Kona, Orange, Racing Cycles, Ribble, Rose, Pivot, Trillion, Yeti, Whyte and more.
They’ll be some of the biggest names in cycling including TV’s Ned Boulting and pro cyclists Marcel Kittel, Alex Dowsett, Sam Pilgrim, Lee Musselwhite, Annie Emerson, Shanaze Danielle Reade, and two time Olympic gold medallist Joanna Rowsell Shand making guest appearances.
With free test tracks featuring the latest road bikes, mountain bikes (MTBs), electric and kids bikes, visitors will have the option to ‘try before they buy’ and will benefit from special show offers on the most innovative cycling gear, accessories and kit.
Cube and Islabikes will bring their expertise to the show, providing a fleet of bikes each for their dedicated free-to-ride test tracks and experts will also be on hand to answer questions and offer advice.
The Extreme Bike Battle, featuring some of the best riders from across the BMX and Mountain Biking world, will include pro-freerider and former world champion Sam Pilgrim who will be at the show on 29th September.
Lee Musselwhite, professional BMX flatland rider and UK Flatland Champion, will be offering BMX Flatland coaching for kids throughout the show.
New2Cycling Hub have partnered up with free2cycle for regular demos, talks and advice throughout all three days, to provide help, advice and know-how for people to increase their confidence and enjoyment of cycling.
Katusha-Alpecin riders Marcel Kittel, who has 19 Grand Tour stage wins, and Alex Dowsett, Commonwealth Games 2014 gold medalist, will be making special guest appearances on 29th and 30th September respectively.
There will also be the newest and most innovative products on sale suitable for all ages and experience of riders, including female specific products available at the Velovixen Women’s Cycling Hub.
