Possessing excellent communication skills and a passion for cycling, you will have a sound track record having already established yourself in a front line sales role, ideally within the leisure industry. Key skills: sound sales skills, excellent customer service skills, numerate and literate, effective communication skills and IT skills to operate stores systems.
Workshop mechanic/sales assistant – Giant store Loughton
Giant store Loughton is currently seeking a workshop mechanic/sales assistant to support it in driving forward its busy high street location, both roles are currently considered either full time or part-time. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to Cytech Level 2 or equivalent and have relevant industry experience, any experience working within a premium branded environment is also preferable. This is two roles, one predominantly workshop based and the other sales floor, both roles will have flexible working hours and the ability to grow your role as the business develops further.
Full-time sales person – Leisure Lakes Bikes
Leisure Lakes Bikes would like to hear from candidates for this sales position who are proactive, hard working, computer literate and who have a passion for bikes. You will be required to work on the busy shop floor answering any customers questions and general shop duties as required, these include operating the workshop diary, EPOS till system, stock taking and speaking with manufacturers/suppliers. You will be expected to operate in a professional manner when dealing with all customers and suppliers. It is offering competitive pay rates (dependant on experience). The Cheltenham store is open six days a week (closed Sundays) and your working week consists of five full days, based on an average of 40 hours. Depending on schedules and rotas these days will include weekends and bank holidays.
Technical and warranty operative – i-ride.co.uk
The main responsibility of this position will be to work within its busy warranty and returns department to handle customer communications, offer technical repairs/service and to process warranty cases and returns. A professional attitude and flexibility are required as there will also be the need to build high-end road bikes from scratch. The job will be mainly based in-house with occasional time away expected for both trade shows, demo days and training workshops with our suppliers. A working knowledge of road and MTB bikes is important. The successful applicant is required to have a high level of cycle maintenance skills and experience. Cycle mechanic qualifications are an advantage. A good technical knowledge of Campagnolo products and repairs is preferred, but not essential. Being organised, presentable, possessing good communications skills and confidence in dealing with customers, as well as a polite manner with a positive friendly attitude will also improve your chances of a successful application.
Mechanic and bike hirer – London Recumbents
London Recumbents is a park based bike hire service and disability cycling assessment and retail business based in South London. It hires bikes and trikes at two London parks and sells cycles for families and individuals with special needs, including local authorities who wish to provide disability cycling to their users. It is currently seeking a workshop mechanic to support it in delivering the highest standards of customer service. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to Cytech Level 2 or equivalent and have recent retail workshop experience.
