Senior bike mechanic – Cyclewise Whinlatter Ltd

Cyclewise is looking to recruit an experienced mechanic, to join its ever-growing team, to work in a busy bike workshop and retail operation at Cyclewise Cockermouth. It is looking for someone passionate about cycling, with a high level of energy, confidence and resourcefulness. You will be required to have proficient bike mechanic skills and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. To preferably be Cytech qualified and/or good experience of e-bikes repairs, wheel building, DI2 and electronic gear shifting.

Cycling guide – Mark Warner

Mark Warner is actively recruiting for cycling guides to work in one of its stunning Mediterranean beach resorts. The terrain, topography and quiet roads surrounding the beach resorts offer some fantastic cycling opportunities for both mountain and road bikers alike. Main responsibilities will include: to promote, coordinate and participate in guided tours for up to 12 guests, implement a cycling programme to accommodate all abilities, deliver the highest level of customer service, monitor and maintain a bike fleet of up to 20 road and/or mountain bikes, relief duties with other departments including volleyball, football, local walks and evening entertainments.

Workshop manager – Free Motion

Free Motion needs a workshop manager who is passionate about cycling, with a commitment to their work, attention to detail and great professionalism, who wants to be part of the team and who is able to get involved in the development of one of the largest bike centres in the world. Requirements: demonstrable experience of at least three years as a bicycle mechanic, capacity to lead an international work team of between five to eight employees, advanced knowledge of bicycle mechanics on high-end bikes/e-bikes, advanced knowledge of suspensions, Rock Shox, Fox and Headsock, advanced knowledge about Shimano, Sram and Campagnolo, knowledge of the sector, ability to communicate both orally and in written form in Spanish and English, ability to work in a changing environment and under pressure, good communication, attention to detail, resolution capacity, ability to stay calm and work as a team in moments of stress.

Retul fit specialist – Specialized Concept Store Newbury

Specialized Concept store is currently looking for an experienced retul fitter for its Newbury Store. It is looking for someone who has a great wealth of knowledge and has completed over 200 Rutul fits. Someone who is as passionate about delivering the highest level of customer experience as it is. A leader, who can be self-motivated to achieve the highest standards for the store and its clients. This role will be run on a five day week including Saturdays. It offers a fantastic store to apply your trade and a great team to work with.

Workshop manager – Eat Sleep Cycle

Eat Sleep Cycle is looking for the right candidate to lead its hub Workshop team in Girona. The workshop maintains its fleet of rental bikes as well as providing high-quality workshop services for its customers. This is a unique opportunity to relocate to the cycling mecca of Girona in Spain and be part of an energetic team that is redefining cycling experiences. As well as delivering tours all over Europe, Eat Sleep Cycle has positioned itself as the go-to place in Girona, Spain, for everything from bike hire, bike fit and physio, to getting your top end bike repaired. This is not a normal bike shop! This is a full-time role based in Girona, Spain. The position is open for immediate start. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan is desirable but not essential. Weekend work required.
