Cycle mechanic – Proper Cycling & Coffee

Full-time position in Hassocks, West Sussex. Proper Cycling & Coffee is looking for an experienced cycle mechanic to work in its vibrant cycle cafe/bike shop. It currently has a great, friendly team with a vacancy available in its workshop. The candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairs, retail sales of parts and accessories, stock control, controlling a busy diary of work, managing the workshop and getting stuck into all aspects of the business when required.

Area account manager – Chicken CycleKit

Chicken CycleKit is looking to recruit an area account manager to cover the south of England. The successful candidate will spend a significant amount of time on the road, visiting independent bike dealerships and is likely to be a person who has substantial technical knowledge of, and interest in, road bikes and components, clothing, footwear and accessories, is energetic and organised, with a very pronounced service ethic and a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations, and is computer literate and a good communicator (both verbal and written).

Assistant paint sprayer/carbon workshop assistant – Carbon Bike Repair

If you are looking to further develop as a talented sprayer to custom respray and paint restore high-end carbon bicycles for a well-respected restoration company. There is variety in this role as no two projects are the same. The primary role will be to prepare, spray, polish and finish bicycles to the high standards expected by customers. You will also be required to mix paint by eye to guarantee as close to ‘perfect’ colour match for spraying. As the work is detailed, you will also be helping to create and apply decals, stencils or masks with precision to ensure a flawless finish.

Bicycle mechanic/sales assistant – Bicycle Junction

Bicycle Junction is seeking an experienced, customer-facing bicycle mechanic and sales assistant. This is a varied role that demands flexibility between sales advice and repairs. Its growing workshop trade means it requires another full-time mechanic to maintain its high level of service but the focus of the role will be placed just as highly on your ability to connect with and sell to its ever-expanding set of valued customers. The successful applicant will have proven experience with a wide range of bicycle servicing including Bosch and Shimano e-bike motor systems. Ideally, you would also carry qualifications of Cytech level 2 or 3 and references to back this experience up.

Content and copywriting executive – Saddleback

Saddleback is looking for a content and copywriting executive to join its e-commerce team to create inspiring storytelling content about Saddleback and its brands – from reporting on the events with which it’s involved to travel-style articles, in-depth brand culture pieces and product first-looks. You’ll also be tasked with putting your bike product knowledge to use by composing engaging product page copy that will inform customers about the product’s story and its features.
