MOBO award winning artist lends support to launch of summer demo and training series

Tinchy Stryder backs Halfords BMX sessions

MOBO award winning musician Tinchy Stryder has lent his support to the launch of a series of Halfords sponsored BMX sessions in which pros will offer demonstrations, as well as tips and training to kids.

Kicking off on August 20th, Halfords will host free skills workshops at indoor skate parks across the country throughout the school summer holidays with each session featuring live performances from local music artists.

Tinchy spent a day rolling around on a Halfords Voodoo bike with the Halfords BMX Coach John Lee and Dean Cueson, a professional BMX rider with the Radio team.

Tinchy Stryder commented: “BMXing is really cool. There’s a lot of skill involved and you need to be pretty confident. So the Halfords BMX Sessions are going to be a great place for kids to learn this over the summer."

BMX fans aged 9-14 can sign up at the Halfords BMX website to apply for a place for themselves and a friend. Parental consent is required at application.
