Tim Lawson to give food-for-thought talk at Edinburgh Bicycle

Tim Lawson, founder of Secret Training (and, before that, Science in Sport) is to give a talk at the Manchester branch of Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative as part of the store’s ongoing Manchester Series of events featuring ambassadors of the sport. The event will take place on 2nd June at 7:30pm.

Lawson is a European champion track cyclist turned sport nutritionist. His talk will major on his deep understanding of cycling and sports nutrition.

Lawson said: “Diet is an important aspect when training for a ride, so I have dedicated my career to developing the right products and understanding what the body needs to perform well. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and answering any burning questions that people might have about what foods they should and should not be eating."

Alex Amato, manager at the Rusholme store, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Tim Lawson to the Manchester Store, a great name in the line up for the series. Covering everything from personal cycling achievements to nutritional advice, I have no doubt Tim will pull in the crowds at this event as keen cyclists are always looking at how to improve performance based on diet and supplements.”
