Nottingham's 'four wheel to a trike to a bike' Quadrabyke wins praise from US organisation

Three-in-one bike wins Parents’ Choice accolade

Quadrabyke’s ‘three in one’ bike has picked up an award from US-based Parents’ Choice.

The product, which can be easily changed from a four-wheel bike to a trike and a bike, won a prestigious ‘Silver Honour’ from the organisation. Parents Choice is a non-profit guide to quality children’s media and toys, established in 1978.

The award comes just months after the Nottingham-based brand secured a distributor in the US.

Reviews like the one currently on the Parents Choice website helped the brand to its award victory. It reads: “Just when you think you’ve mastered the world of children’s bikes, the Quadrabyke comes along to shake things up. As other bikes, this has a frame, handle bars and pedals, but the Quadrabyke comes with four sturdy tires. Parents can opt to set the bike up on two-, four- or three-wheels so that it can evolve from a four-wheeler to a tricycle to a bicycle as your child masters each stage of riding.

“The assembly was a little challenging and time-consuming, but once we understood the process, the bike was up and running and a big hit with test group. Unlike other tricycles our three-year old tester has used, the Quadrabyke gave him the ability to pedal much more smoothly and, much to his older brother’s chagrin, he can now confidently keep pace. The bike has been well-constructed, well-priced, and well received.”

Quadrabyke is available in the UK bike trade via Avocet Sports.
