Rider Care Representative – Specialized UK

We’re looking for a Rider Care Representative to join Specialized UK, providing first-class customer service support to our retail partners and fellow riders. You will: support our dealers and riders with positive and productive conversations to solve their queries, on the phone, messaging, email and in person as required, respond to dealer inquiries, providing support for all lines of Specialized product, warranty evaluations, technical support and service parts.

The successful candidate will also be expected to: resolve unique or complex issues through creative, rider focussed solutions, promote relationships between Specialized and the network of retailers, and collaborate with the global team, management and internal departments as necessary to resolve rider and product issues.

Retail Team Member – Specialized Concept Store / Certini Bicycle Co

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and rider focused people to join our Birmingham retail team on a full or part-time basis. You will have a keen interest in the cycling world and will be someone that enjoys working with the public and can work as part of a team to promote the best customer experience possible.

The key objective is to exceed customer expectations. Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, including greeting all customers on entering the shop, assisting in their choice of purchases, processing sales through the till system whilst ensuring accuracy at all times.

You will: become a product expert in order to provide the level of service required, maintain a professional, positive, helpful, and cheerful attitude at all times, work as part of a team to achieve sales targets and margins by maximising every sales opportunity, ensure feedback from customers is communicated to the store management, attend regular shop meetings and training sessions, as and when required, and assist supervisor/managers with other tasks should they be requested.

As the store manager you will oversee all aspects of the daily operations, maintaining excellent customer service, manage inventory, supervising staff, driving sales and workshop growth. Goes without saying you must have a passion for cycling, great leadership skills and a track record of success in a retail enviroment.

You will be required to work on the busy shop floor answering customers’ questions and undertake general shop duties. Full Time Bike Mechanic – Specialized Newbury

We are currently seeking a full time Bike Mechanic at Specialized concept store Newbury. The successful candidate will have industry experience, a passion for cycling and be able to build, repair and service all kinds of bikes. If this sounds like you and you feel you have what it takes to repair and maintain high end cycling equipment, then we would love to hear from you!

Duties will include: maintenance, repairs and servicing, providing excellent levels of customer service, actively pursue all sales opportunities and ensure that the customer is advised on suitable product for their individual needs, maintain a smart, tidy, safe and well merchandised working environment, complete daily and weekly duties ensuring the smooth running of the store, and handling special orders, warranty returns, booking in jobs and customer issues. Being aware of current promotions, working with Epos systems.

You will need to have knowledge of an extensive range of cycle equipment as you will be building bikes; identifying faults and deciding what kind of repairs or maintenance are needed. Cytech Level 2 or equivalent but a minimum of Level 1 will be considered. You will need to be thorough and be able to pay attention to detail, have excellent communication skills both with customers and working colleagues, and be able to work as part of a dynamic sales team.
