Store Manager

Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op is a long established, respected independent bike retailer. Founded in 1977, we operate 6 retail outlets across Scotland and the North of England as well as an ecommerce operation supported by a large warehouse/ distribution centre on the outskirts of Edinburgh. As an employee-owned business, service quality and the customer are at the heart of what we do. Our Canonmills store is the only Brompton Gold store in Scotland.

This is a hands-on Store Manager role for someone who knows what a great bike shop looks like and takes pride in running one. You’ll lead from the front on the shop floor, develop a knowledgeable team, and take full ownership of the store’s performance, culture, and reputation.

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day success of our store. You’ll balance commercial performance with exceptional customer experiences, ensuring the shop remains a destination for cyclists of all levels. This is not a back-office role. You’ll be actively selling, coaching, problem-solving, and setting the standard every day.

Buyer – Clothing and Helmets

Working as a Buying Assistant, you will work as part of a team to deliver an industry leading range of bikes for our customers.

As a key and leading role within the Buying team you need to develop exciting, innovative, and unique ranges which are customer focussed, along with careful supplier selection and management, pricing analysis and planned promotional activity, to deliver the required commercial business targets. Working alongside the merchandising team, you will provide input into previous sales trends to aid successful forecasting of future demand to maximise availability and profit. Maintaining product lifecycle management and regular pricing reviews will ensure products remain competitive.

Cycle Technician

Whether it be for the weekday commute or weekend pursuits, our customers have very different preferences. What they all have in common is a genuine excitement when they’re presented with their cycling products & you are looked upon not just as a representative of The Electric Bike Shop, but a cycling know-it-all.

Your role as Cycle Technician is vital to maintaining our reputation for quality products and service that customers can rely on and trust.  As Technician we want you to share our passion for cycling and help every customer to have everything they need to ‘enjoy the ride’.  You’ll be comfortable both fixing bicycles and talking to customers. The ideal person loves getting hands-on and is extremely process-driven – you must be able to complete repairs to an exceptional standard in a set amount of time.

National Account Manager

We partner closely with some of the UK’s largest retail and online customers to drive brand growth, deliver strong commercial performance, and build long-term, strategic relationships within the UK cycling market.

Due to continued development within the team, we’re looking for an experienced National Account Manager to take ownership of key retail accounts and help drive sustainable growth. As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with major national and strategic accounts. You’ll work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, brand, and supply chain to deliver joint business plans, execute commercial strategies, and maximise opportunities across your account base. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role ideal for someone who thrives on building partnerships, negotiating agreements, and delivering results.

Showroom Manager

You will coordinate daily operations, and make sure every interaction feels unmistakably Ribble. From pre-purchase advice to post-purchase support, you will handle escalations, drive service recovery and keep the experience seamless. During quieter periods, you will ensure the team supports digital service through email, video and call-backs. You will track CSAT and SLA performance, share insights with HQ and build local relationships that put Ribble at the heart of the community.
