The Bike List quadruples site traffic

Online bicycle selection tool The Bike List has reported a four-fold jump in site traffic since May 2009.

Designed to help cyclists search for and choose their perfect bike, The Bike List was launched at the end of May 2009. By July 2009 they had 35,000 unique users per month and this July 2010 traffic has more than quadrupled to 161,774 unique users (according to Google Analytics).

Editor Oli Laverack says, “Such is the growth of the site that we have just appointed a commercial director, taken five more bike testers on board and been nominated for the Bike Biz Rising Star and Consumer Site award. The Bike Lists’ detailed bike specs and comparison service for over 4,600 bikes plus dependable reviews from award winning outdoor magazine editors has helped over 750,000 cyclists choose their perfect bike this year alone. We are confident that this will rise to well over one million before the year is out.”
