Tesco has placed adverts in several national newspapers today showing a number of discounted bikes, of which the cheapest is a ‘half price’ Anaconda BMX at just £70.
The supermarket has also focused the full page advert’s attention on its ‘Clubcard Voucher Exchange’, in which £10 worth of collected Clubcard points can be turned into a further £20 discount on its bikes and accessories.
A full suspension, 26-inch men’s bike, advertised with a third off retail price, is on sale for £120, while the female counterpart costs £133.33.
In a first for supermarkets advertising bikes, it appears that all front forks are facing the right direction.
