Tandem turns a £5.8m loss into a £71k profit

Closing the Leigh factory saw Tandems turnover fall to £21.2m from the previous years £31.3m.

Sales for the first five months of 2000 are ahead of the same period last year, but demand for lower priced products resulted in a fall in average margins.
