The Sweetspot Group has announced a June 3rd industry cycle sport conference, which is set to explore the commercial future of the sport of cycling in the UK, focusing on attracting more fans and new audiences to the sport and keeping those fans engaged.
With top-level cycle sport speakers lined up, the conference will look in-depth at how the sport is viewed by fans and non-fans alike, how teams and brands are currently engaging with the fans, as well as how important it is for sponsors to engage with fans. There will also be segments on what the future looks like for cycling in the UK, around the world and what all the relevant parties involved in the sport can do to grow the sports fanbase.
Invite to the event is open to teams, riders, event organisers, stakeholders, current and potential sponsors, sponsorship agencies, broadcasters and the media. A capacity cap of 150 people has been placed on the event to ensure everyone can properly accommodated on the day.
The event, which will be subject to Chatham House rules to encourage free-discussion, will take place on the 3rd June at Foxhills in Surrey.
