Steve Goodwin takes role at Madison

Steve Goodwin, formerly of the Aylesbury Training Group, has taken on the newly-created role of technial manager at Madison.

Having held the position of cycle workshop training manager for the training group for the past ten years, Goodwin has trained many of the UK’s cycle mechanics who have undertaken the NVQ. Steve is a qualified teacher and engineer and also wrote the NVQ level 2 professional wheel building programme and the NVQ level 3 advanced hydraulics and special bike build program.

Steve is also a keen motocrosser and snow sports enthusiast which is essential for working with Madison’s diverse product and customerbase.

Dominic Langan, CEO of Madison said: “I am delighted to get a candidate of Steve’s calibre to join the Madison team. With the challenges of the all the various standards such as CEN impacting upon the business it is crucial we have someone on board who is able to correctly and commercially interpret and advise. Steve will also head up the warranty team as well as conduct technical training for Madison staff and customers.”
