Stan’s has launched Rolled Gold, a new biodegradable tubeless sealant developed specifically for high-pressure road and gravel tyres.
The brand says the new formula is its lightest and fastest sealant to date, requiring 35ml in a 700c x 28mm tyre — more than 35% less than the competitive average — while sealing punctures up to 7.8mm across a 35–100 psi pressure range.
Rolled Gold uses a high-latex, water-based formula with optimized particle technology. According to Stan’s, the lower-viscosity sealant is designed to move quickly to a puncture site before forming a plug that cures into a permanent seal once exposed to air.
The sealant is built around 100% natural latex rather than synthetic alternatives, which Stan’s says improves adhesion to rubber and casing fibres while offering better cured strength and durability. The company also highlights the material’s plant-derived, renewable source and says its latex meets EUDR deforestation-free standards.

From our experience in this market and from listening to Stan’s riders, we realised we could deliver a superior product for road cyclists that required less sealant — thus saving weight — yet with the same reliability as our Race Day product, plus you can inject this through the valve. So there are no sacrifices.”
Stan’s positions Rolled Gold between Original and Race Day in its sealant line-up. Original remains the brand’s general-purpose option, while Race Day is aimed at maximum puncture protection in demanding conditions but cannot be injected through the valve because of its larger particles. Rolled Gold is intended for riders who want high-pressure performance with lower fill volume and easier installation.
The sealant is suitable for road, gravel and XC MTB tyres and can be installed through the valve using Stan’s Sealant Injector or the brand’s 125ml and 60ml bottles.
Pricing and availability
Stan’s Rolled Gold is formulated, produced and bottled at the company’s headquarters in Big Flats, New York. It is available in three sizes: 500ml priced at $29.50 / €27 / £27; 125ml at $11 / €10 / £10; and 60ml at $5.50 / €5 / £5.50.
