Increasing needs of the region see the brand dedicate more resource to Europe

SRAM shakes up European marketing team

SRAM has re-jigged its European marketing team to service the "increasing needs" of the territory.

For the past two years, Gaetan Vetois has been wearing two hats within the European Marcom organisation: European Marketing Manager and European Road Brand Manager. Now Vetois will focus solely on his General Marketing role, while Géraldine Bergeron will move on from her PR role and take over the specific European Road Marketing responsabilities.

So, as of today, Bergeron will become the new European Road Marketing Manager reporting to Chris Zigmont, and will also head European Road PR until a replacement is found for her current position.

Vetois on his side will lead all General Marketing activities for Europe, linked to OE, AM Sales, Dealers as European Marketing Director. Vetois will continue to report to David Zimberoff.

VP of Marketing David Zimberoff commented: "With so much growth potential in Europe, this evolution comes at a perfect time. Gaetan has had several roles within our European marketing team and bring a well rounded discipline to our group. Geraldine’s passion in the road category is a perfect match for her US counterparts, and she will help provide a fresh focus on our road brand activity.”

SRAM added: "This evolution further aligns with strengthening Europe and the arrival of Uwe Reichelt as European OE Sales Director and the restructuring of AM Sales per territory under the leadership of Ian Young as European AM Sales Director."
